Who should attend a Reason for Hope Retreat?

Are you a high schooler who desires to learn more about your faith? Have you had an encounter with the Lord that you desire to deepen? These retreats are for you! These 24-hour retreats are inspired by 1 Peter 3:15:

“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect”.

The purpose of the Reason for Hope Retreats is to help young people grow in their relationship with Christ and to feel confident to share the faith with those around them.

The Five Marks of the Reason for Hope Retreats:

  1. Proclamation of the Gospel- Share the Kerygma to strengthen faith

  2. Active Witness- Participating in the missionary spirit of the Catholic Church through testimonies

  3. Celebration of the Sacraments- Active participation specifically in the Mass and Confession

  4. Christian Witness – Experience other young adults and youth living for Christ

  5. Fun- time in games and community

Summer Bible Camps

St Teresa of Calcutta Camp is a five-day camp for youth entering 9th and 10th grade. The camp is designed to equip young Catholics to be missionary disciples in their homes, schools, communities, and world. Just as Saint Teresa of Calcutta drew her strength and inspiration from the Eucharist, STOC Camp is centered on the transforming power of Jesus Christ, present in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Throughout the camp, youth will have opportunities to grow in faith and discipleship through daily Mass, confession, adoration, praise and worship, and the witness and testimony of faith-filled speakers. Through small groups, games, and activities, youth will also grow in friendship and community.

The Saint Teresa of Calcutta Camp date is TBD at this point we will update you as soon as a date is set.

St. John Paul II Camp is a 5-day, 4-night camp designed for youth entering 7th and 8th grade. The primary goal of JP2 Camp is to immerse participants in their Catholic faith and community, fostering a meaningful encounter with Jesus Christ. Throughout the camp, youth will have the opportunity to attend daily mass, go to confessions, hear from engaging speakers, and spend time worshipping the Lord in adoration and prayer. Youth will also grow in friendships through small groups, games, and participating in camp traditions!
