Dear Parishioners,

           Happy Easter to you! May the Risen Christ bless your home. Let me take this liberty to urge you to be in communion with our brothers and sisters  by attending Sunday Mass as much as possible.

           I extend my gratitude on behalf of bishop Hoeppner and the priests for the priest appreciation dinner. It is good to know we are the best to organize such a event in the whole diocese.

 Tuesday Mass is introduced once again so that working people can attend and benefit. You may also attend  the  Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Tuesdays.

Mathew 7: 7 says “Ask, you will be given; knock, it will be opened; Search, you will find.” Sometimes back, I asked for a Microphone-sound box for our parish.  I am glad to tell you a few donors have donated. Thanks to the donors.

Malachi 3:10 says, “you may test the Lord by giving him back so that He might bless you a hundredfold. Try, He says.” I am asking you in a special way from those who miss the Mass for some reasons. Please do not stop contributing regular tithes to your church even if you miss Mass. The church heating /air-condition  and other necessary expenses do not go down even if you were absent. I hope you understand. Moreover, you are giving to God who is in your local church, and by your regular contribution, others are able to worship the Lord. You may either mail in advance or may double your contribution when you come back from vacation.

Holy Thursday Mass will be on April 1, at 7.30 pm. Good Friday Service will be at 6.30 pm, and Easter Sunday will be as usual at 9.30 am, Warren. Our children will be receiving Holy communion on April 25 during Sunday Mass. Please pray for them.

May  is the month of Mother Mary. We will recite the rosary before Sunday Mass on May 2nd at 9 am in front of the grotto, if weather permits. I have prepared Holy Mass on DVD, which is available for a small donation.

There will be a Christian Spiritual Charism Inventory Seminar, conducted by Pastor Deb Hanson, Oslo and myself to find out your talents.  You are most welcome to attend on Sunday, May 16  at 7 – 8 pm at the social hall at Warren. The cost will be $10 per person. First 10 persons will get full scholarship. So rush and enroll your name in the office.

Please remember to inform the office, or Father Emmanuel, if you are going into the hospital and want a visit or prayers.  The hospital will not do this for you since the privacy laws have been tightened.  We will be glad to pray for you and your family members.
